Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of ~8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and adapting to a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. The position requires a two-person married couple, with relocation assistance provided and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse eligibility required (two-person role)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Experience with youth preferred
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
