Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents located on campus provide care, supervision, and guidance to a cohort of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, mentoring, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and managing household budgeting and reporting. Role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires a legally married couple (two years), both spouses aged 27+, HS diploma or GED, US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
