Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents: a two-person, legally married couple on Milton Hershey School campus in Krum, TX. They supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel, oversee budgeting and housing reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent role. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; includes comprehensive benefits and on-campus housing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married couple requirement (legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Residence in on-campus student homes as part of two-person team
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Prohibited alcohol on duty
- High school diploma or GED required
- Relocation assistance provided
