Job Summary
Couples reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Work schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a fixed student-home assignment. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for legally married couples; both spouses must complete individual applications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to mentor youth
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
