Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in a student home, supervising and supporting 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Two-person role for couples
