Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School provide care, supervision, and development support for a group of 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse/Two-person role for married couples
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
