Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on a on-campus residence program for 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and family-like care. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on/four-off schedule (nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off) before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA with on-campus housing and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free campus
- Two-person role for couples
- Living on campus in student homes and supervising 8-13 students
- Experience with youth preferred
