Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside on campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a nine-on/three-off schedule to a placed houseparent assignment. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus; includes on-campus living and fully supervised student development in a faith-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
