Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students; duties include managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off schedules to a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires being legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27 or older, and a valid U.S. driver’s license; relocation assistance is provided and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel services
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
