Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role on a campus: couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent with continued housing alongside students. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA, with on-site housing included, and a strong commitment to student wellbeing and faith-based programming.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
