Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule, with a later transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students in their home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required, and the position includes comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models
