Job Summary
Live-in two-person Flex Houseparents (adult couple) at Milton Hershey School, on-campus housing for 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and supervision of household routines. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving and coordinating activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent in a dedicated home. Nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off initially, with relocation to Hershey, PA and paid training provided. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, and hold a high school diploma or GED. Requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance included; benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
