Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. Includes relocation assistance and paid training; requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
