Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in development and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role progresses from initial placement in multiple student homes to a Placed Houseparent assignment living with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary is per person. The position is based in on-campus student homes with relocation to Hershey, PA as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role and must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to serve as role models for students
