Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and household routine management for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Administer medications, drive students to activities, and plan recreational and developmental engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting while managing a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group after initial support. Both spouses must complete individual applications and meet requirements including a valid driver's license, age 27+, and commitment to a smoke-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
