Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise 8–13 students in a home setting, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a consistent houseparent in a student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Demonstrated professionalism and integrity
