Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting; position initially supports multiple homes with a nine-on/three-off schedule, then transitions to a placed houseparent role with continued on-site living and work with the same group of students; relocation benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Ability to reside on-campus in student homes
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
- Two-person role for couples
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse married couple required for the role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
