Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, overseeing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and devotional/chapel participation. The role starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across multiple homes and progresses to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Requires a two-person married couple, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, the ability to drive student vans, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, while fostering academic, emotional, and social development in a safe, family-like environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
