Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to a Placed Houseparent role with continued living and working in the same student home. Relocation assistance is provided; benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement savings, paid time off, and on-site housing meals and utilities. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be at least 27, and complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married requirement for couples
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to drive and supervise students
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven experience/volunteer work with youth
