Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents needed at Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially, duties follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule across various homes, with eventual placement into a single student home. Benefits include salary per person (~$46,917) with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience with youth (work or volunteering)
- Relocation assistance provided
- On-campus residence in student homes
- Residential caregiver duties including supervision, mentoring, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
