Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School’s on-campus student homes to supervise and support 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, medications administration, transportation, daily routines, and engagement in developmental activities. Responsibilities include budgeting, household reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and coordinating activities with students. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided as part of the position.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year married relationship
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Two-person role for couples
