Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role providing daily supervision and mentorship to a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes, managing household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and scheduling. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions, planning and engaging students in developmental and recreational activities, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent model in a student home. Flex Houseparents live on campus and support student homes with a family-like environment to foster students’ academic, emotional, and social development; the role requires on-site work in Spartanburg, SC, with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married couple
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
