Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and support 8–13 students in a home-like setting. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule across multiple homes and evolves into a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proven integrity and professionalism as role-models for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for on-campus role
