Job Summary
Milton Hershey School seeks a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents couple to reside on campus in student homes in Hershey, PA (and related on-campus homes). The role provides daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including administering medications, coordinating schedules, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule begins with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. The position requires a legally married couple, both spouses age 27 or older, and involves relocation with relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and salary described per person (total compensation per couple reflected in benefits). Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
