Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two married individuals) live on campus in a student home, supervising and supporting 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a consistent household family for a specific student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Two-spouse requirement (must be legally married for at least two years)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Prepared to relocate to Hershey, PA (relocation assistance provided)
