Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person team) live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, managing student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel visits, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role follows a nine-on, three-off cycle at the start, with eventual placement as a consistent Houseparent. Requires relocation, a married couple with both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Includes comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and housing; compensation is $46,917 per person with total couple compensation around $180,000."
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
