Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents sought for Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule evolves from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year marriage minimum for both spouses
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited (lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel)
