Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents provide on-campus supervision and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home setting. The role includes daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-on/three-off duty cycles to a placed houseparent role while maintaining a stable, supportive home environment for students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse employment application required for consideration
- Valid U.S. driver’s license (or ability to become certified to drive student home vans)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to campus rules (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
- Ability to live on campus in a two-person role
