Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live in on-campus student homes in Union City, CA, to supervise approximately 8–13 students, provide care, mentorship, supervise household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, and lead daily devotions with Sunday Chapel attendance. Responsibilities include budgeting and household reporting; initially maintaining a nine-days-on, three-days-off work cycle and later transitioning to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided; position includes comprehensive benefits and housing. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be 27 or older.
Required Qualifications

- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
