Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, a two-person married-couple live-in role in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include comprehensive medical/dental/vision, retirement savings, PTO, and housing/ meals on duty. Requires experience with youth, a legally married two-person team, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a safe, alcohol-free campus. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
