Job Summary
Two-person, on-campus live-in care role for 8–13 students in Milton Hershey School homes. Couples reside in student homes, provide daily supervision and mentorship, supervise routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and chapel attendance, manage budgeting and household reporting, and transition from Flex Houseparents to Placed Houseparents. Initially working nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a consistent student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA required; benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance options, retirement savings, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proven integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
