Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus and supervise 8–13 students, providing mentorship, routines management, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities. Duties include planning devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three off to a placed houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include relocation assistance, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, paid training, and housing/utilities. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and married couples with at least two years of marriage, both aged 27+, willing to complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
