Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents on Milton Hershey School’s campus in Hershey, PA. A two-person married couple role living in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation for activities, and planning/developmental activities. Responsibilities include supervising routines, budgeting and household reporting, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and coordinating activities with students (approximately 8–13 per home). Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
