Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, Newberry/FL area hinting location, providing care, supervision, and guidance for 8–13 students. They manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role begins with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule and may transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of marriage (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (relocation assistance provided)
