Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; manage household routines, medications, transportation, plan and lead activities, daily devotions, budgeting and reporting; nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year marriage requirement and both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
