Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students, with responsibilities including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a legally married status for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role includes relocation assistance and paid training, with on-campus housing, meals while on duty, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person married couple role
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
