Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents needed for Milton Hershey School to reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance provided; on-site housing and meals included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
