Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students and providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role for continued care of the same student group. The position requires a two-person, married-couple team, relocation to the on-campus setting, and a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with benefits including health insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid time off, and a competitive total compensation when considering housing and meals. Could involve on-campus relocation to Hershey, PA as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
