Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, guidance, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role follows a nine consecutive days on duty with three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA; salary per person is $46,917 with total compensation around $180,000 per couple including housing and benefits, plus relocation assistance and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married duration
- Both spouses must complete individual applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Compliance with campus restrictions (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
