Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially and progression to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple minimum to consider applying
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to be certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, no alcohol on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience with youth preferred
