Job Summary
Two-person married couple will reside in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel services, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role starts with a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same student group in their own home.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
