Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The role progresses from initial placement in multiple homes to a Placed Houseparent position living with the same group of students. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus housing with comprehensive benefits and paid relocation/training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-model for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
