Job Summary
Two-person, Full-time Flex Houseparent role serving as on-campus guardians and mentors for a group of 8–13 students; responsibilities include supervising daily routines, supervising medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from flexible placement to a consistent, same-housegroup placement. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid US driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience with youth; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must apply individually. Relocation is provided and includes housing; benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Two-spouse couple must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Freedom to drive student home vans (certification preferred)
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to religious services
- Ability to relocate
- Fully participate as a couple in the program
