Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA (relocation required) to provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for groups of 8–13 students. The two-person, married-couple role includes daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on/three-days-off cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent role.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
