Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, residing on campus to supervise and support a group of approximately 8–13 students, provide care, guidance, and supervision, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions, and oversee budgeting and reporting; initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student home.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Relocation assistance and paid training provided
