Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students in on-campus homes, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, daily devotions, and budgeting/household reporting. Initial schedule features nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; requires a legally married couple (both spouses 27+) to apply, with on-campus residence in Hershey, PA or Winter Haven, FL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
