Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on Milton Hershey School campus to provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising students daily, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapels, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent role. Requires a legally married couple for consideration, relocation to Hershey, PA, and a commitment to a faith-based, smoke- and alcohol-free campus environment. Benefits include a per-person salary of $46,917 (approx. $180k total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA (on-campus housing)
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Commitment to safety and campus policies
- Desire to work with youth in a school setting
- Complete individual employment applications for both spouses
