Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School: a two-person, married-couple role living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel visits, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule transitioning to a fixed placed houseparent arrangement; relocation to Hershey, PA with comprehensive benefits including housing, meals on duty, insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services
