Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person couple) reside on campus at Milton Hershey School in Temple City, CA, to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a Placed Houseparent role. Schedule initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. The role requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for the position.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
