Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside on-campus in student homes, providing supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental and religious activities. Responsibilities include managing routines, budgeting, and household reporting, with a nine-consecutive-days-on schedule followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married, legally married couple
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Full-time, on-campus residency
